Static content is fixed information that doesn't change often and is unique to a specific page. On MegaTech, you can identify static content by its blue border.

Characteristics of static content

• Can be edited directly on the page.
• Ideal for pages that rarely change.
• Easy to update using Webflow's visual editor.

How to edit static content

Select the element you want to edit on the canvas:

• For text elements:

  • Double-click the text directly on the canvas to edit in place.

  • Or, select the text element and use the 'Settings' section in the right panel to update it.

    

• For image elements:

  • Double-click the image and select 'Replace' to choose a new image.

  • You can also use the 'Settings' section in the right panel to replace or modify the image.

    

Static content is ideal for page-specific information that doesn't need frequent updates. It offers simplicity and direct control, making it ideal for core website pages like your home page, about us, or contact pages.

Static content has limitations. For content that repeats or needs regular updates, consider using CMS content.
